1. Agreement to Terms
By registering for a membership with Grand Prix Pedigrees, operated by Paula McRae (“we”, “us”, “our”), you (“the Member”) agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
2. Membership & Access
Your membership grants you access to the Grand Prix Pedigrees Education Portal, including educational content on genetics, breeding strategies, pedigree analysis, and members-only pedigree breakdowns. Membership also entitles you to a 10% discount on consulting services. Access is personal and non-transferable. You may not share your login credentials or allow others to access your account.
3. Subscription Plans & Payment
We offer Monthly ($14.99 AUD/month), Yearly ($149 AUD/year), and Lifetime ($399 AUD one-time) plans. All prices are in Australian Dollars and include GST where applicable. Recurring subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
4. Refund Policy
24-Hour Change of Mind: If you change your mind within 24 hours of your initial purchase, you may request a full refund by contacting us at paulamcrae@bigpond.com. Your membership access will be revoked upon processing of the refund.
After 24 Hours: After the 24-hour change-of-mind period, absolutely no refunds will be issued. By subscribing, you acknowledge and accept this policy. This does not affect your rights under Australian Consumer Law where services are faulty, not as described, or fail to meet consumer guarantees.
5. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Account page. You will retain access until the end of your current billing period. No partial refunds will be issued for unused portions. Lifetime memberships cannot be cancelled for a refund after the 24-hour change-of-mind period.
6. Intellectual Property
All content within the Education Portal is the intellectual property of Grand Prix Pedigrees and Paula McRae. No information is to be copied, reproduced, or used without written consent. Members may not redistribute, republish, or commercially exploit any portal content.
7. Disclaimer
Information provided is for educational and informational purposes only. Breeding outcomes cannot be guaranteed. Grand Prix Pedigrees accepts no liability for breeding decisions made based on information provided. All breeding decisions are the responsibility of the horse owner.
8. Privacy
We collect personal information necessary to provide our services. We will not sell or share your personal information with third parties except as required to process payments or as required by law. We comply with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
9. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy conferred on you by the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010) or any other applicable law that cannot be excluded by agreement.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Members will be notified of material changes via email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Australia.
